I went to see my long time hero Paul Reubens speak at the Arclight theatre last night. He introduced Pee Wee's Big Adventure and was interviewed after the show. The organization of the Q & A was a little wacky. They passed out question cards, but no pens. Fortunately I had a sharpie. So I wrote something to the effect of which comedian/ filmmaker has been the biggest influence in his career. My question got picked, so I got a free Blues Bros DVD and Mr. Reubens spoke to me. It was odd. For those of you who know me, you know how much that means to me! I was really happy.

It's great that you were able to attend the screening - what was Paul's answer to your question? What did other people ask him?
He said he really liked Desi Arnez, but that he loved a lot of comedians. He said the same thing about "What is your favorite genre of movies?" except he said he liked all movies except horror because he doesn't like to be scared. Someone asked what his favorite prop from the Playhouse was and he said that it was a 2 headed troll, that he stole (it was a rental) on the last day of filming. He also said that the "tequilla" shoes were in his closet, but the bike was at the Hollywood museum. He talked about his new movies, but I'll let you read about that by clicking the following link.
